Very sad, but very good.
Loxton and Stringer put the fear of God into a romancing couple, and are held up attending a robbery at a warehouse, where four boxes of cigarettes are stolen.
It's a very sad story, and a very downbeat episode in general, not much here to cheer up a dark Wednesday night. It has a good story, and good set of characters.
I think this gives us an insight into the character of Chief Inspector Cato, he really is a monster, he's sarcastic, and pretty unpleasant, definite fireworks are expected here, good acting from Whitchurch though, he gets under the skin. Margery Mason was excellent here as Mrs Durrant, overall it's another very, very good episode.
8/10.
