This is a wonderful production that kids should love. Informative and entertaining for animal lovers of all ages. The DVD comes with an innovative universal remote that allows one to navigate through on-screen prompts and options. Very fun! The animals are great, but the real star of the show is host Bianca Sanchez. She is a treat for the eyes and is wonderfully animated. She appears to be relatively new in the industry...what a bright future she has! Bianca is a beauty but comes off as very wholesome and polished...I watched the thing twice just to see her again! San Diego Zoo Animal Explorer is highly recommended!!!

Fun & Educational for the whole family!

San Diego Zoo Animal Explorer provides hours and hours of entertainment for children and adults alike. My kids learned fun and interesting facts about animals and so did I! Who knew polar bear hair was made out of clear hollow tubes? I do now! Another cool feature is how this DVD lets you navigate right to your favorite mammal, bird, reptile, spider or insect and discover all sorts of crazy facts about them. My favorite was the Komodo dragon. They grow to be over ten feet long and are cannibalistic. That means they eat each other! My kids loved how you can hear the sound each animal makes. Boy, who would think that a koala sounds so much like a donkey!
