"Mr. Candy-ass!"
ExplorerDS678925 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Beavis and Butt-head's class receives a visit from Mr. Candy, whom you might remember from the "Manners Suck" episode as Mr. Manners. Well, Mr. Whoever has a new profession now, and let's hope it will go more smoothly for him, even though we all know it won't. Today, he's brought many boxes of candy bars with the school's name on the wrapper. The idea was to get the students to sell them door to door and raise money for Highland High. The going rate is $2.00 apiece, and I thought that sounded like a lot for a candy bar back in 1995, but today in 2011, many candy bars are $2.00 a piece, so go figure. So, after Mr. Buzzcut gives the class a a few words of "encouragement," Beavis and Butt-head set about their task with very little enthusiasm. Their first (and only) customer is Tom Anderson. He only has two dollars in his wallet, so the boys each clamor to sell to him, even offering the candy at half price. So Anderson buys one a piece. After that, they continue their rounds, and Butt-head asks to buy one of Beavis's bars for a buck, but he refuses to budge, saying it's full price...butthole. Butt-head asks if he'll lend him a dollar, which Beavis reluctantly does, so now he's got two dollars and is minus one more candy bar.

The rest of the day finds Beavis and Butt-head buying each others' candy bars and scarfing them all down. I'd say it was literally a full rich day. They do so up until their next school day with all of their candy bars gone, and each boy having but $1.00 to show for it. Butt-head having given back the dollar be borrowed from Beavis. Needless to say, Mr. Candy wasn't too pleased to see the lack of profit on Beavis and Butt-head's part and assumed they're hiding the rest. Just as he starts to physically assault them, Mr. Buzzcut comes to their rescue, claiming only he does the ass-kicking in his class. Candy then makes the fatal mistake of bitch-slapping an ex-marine, and thus he gets dropped kicked while Beavis and Butt-head watch with delight.

This episode is a lot of fun. It's amusing to watch Beavis and Butt-head yet again screw up a school fund-raiser, but in this case it wasn't so bad because it was enforced by the pompous Mr. Candy. As for selling those delectable chocolate bars for school, I remember once having to do that myself. I didn't do like Beavis and Butt-head and buy them from myself, but I managed to sell quite a few. So long as it went to a good cause, I guess. Anyway, fans of the show should definitely check this one out. It seems Mr. Whoever, voiced by special guest star David Spade, has not yet learned not to mess with the teachers at Highland High. He got his ass kicked by Mr. Van Driessen, and now got the fear of God kicked into him by Buzzcut.
