The Perfect Couple episode 4 threw in a surprising, but unnecessary, reveal when it comes to Amelia and Shooter. After this, there's only two more episodes of the Netflix series before it's revealed who the real killer is. At least, that's what I assume. Usually murder mysteries wait until the end for those big reveals. Here's our review of "Someone Could Get Hurt." Spoilers Below.
So apparently Amelia and Shooter randomly crossed paths once in the past, and it sounds like it was just that one time. It doesn't make sense why Amelia didn't want to tell Shooter where she knew him from. The backstory was not a big deal. Sorry but the show is trying to make me believe that one time on the train and then less than five hours built a connection between them. Really? It doesn't make sense to me.

Pd True is streaming on Paramount+ and it is not a true crime series you want to let slip under your radar! Here’s everything to know about the documentary series.
These days, there’s no shortage of true crime series and documentaries. Needless to say, it is one of the most popular genres (and my personal favorite), but as much as I enjoy discovering new docuseries to watch, they aren’t all worth the hype. At the same time, there’s always that one show that manages to slip under the radar since there are so many! Is Pd True on Paramount+ one you need to be watching?
Paramount+’s Pd True is described as a “gripping series” that follows some of the biggest and most thrilling cases from the point of view of law enforcement, taking audiences along for the ride. That’s what sets this documentary apart,...

Max Payne’s remakes may be in development, but who said that doesn’t give other developers to cook up their own bullet time experiences? On that note, there’s a new exciting project in the works that looks like a serious combination of Max Payne, My Friend Pedro, and John Wick making the most of the cinematic gameplay experience you could hope for.
The game is called The Hong Kong Massacre and is being crafted by two individuals, working in a studio called Vreski that is based in Malmö, Sweden. Even though the game’s press kit shows a trailer of a game that looks very different, the narrative seems to have stayed unchanged over the course of its development.

After a decorated career in television, The Family Plan director Simon Cellan Jones has returned to feature films for the first time in two-plus decades.
Cellan Jones’ feature career began with 2000’s Some Voices, a British drama starring a still-emerging Daniel Craig, and he soon followed that up with 2002’s The One and Only, before spending two decades in television, helming episodes of How to Make It in America, Treme, Jessica Jones, Boardwalk Empire, Ballers and Shooter. Four of the aforementioned shows were executive produced by Mark Wahlberg, and when the actor needed a filmmaker to direct March 2024’s Arthur the King during the pandemic, he gave Cellan Jones a second go-round in the feature space. The shoot went well, so well that after Cellan Jones locked picture, he quickly started prepping their current Apple TV+ release, The Family Plan.

The term “four quadrant” — used to refer to films that appealed to audiences of both men and women over and under 25 — is considered a tad outdated. The American population has become much more diverse and fragmented since the phrase started picking up steam in the ‘80s and ‘90s. These days, the thinking is that these basic demographic categories are no longer adequate for describing the kind of cultural reach a given movie or show needs to succeed.
So, how do we measure mass appeal in a more complicated world? At Ranker, we have found that the only truly helpful predictor of what a given person will enjoy watching is what they’ve enjoyed watching in the past. In our view, a “four quadrant” or “tentpole” title, whether a movie or a TV show, appeals to people with diverse pop culture tastes and preferences, not to people across a few overgeneralized groups.

Exclusive: USA Network’s “blue sky” series of the 2000s and early 2010s are having a moment this year between Suits‘ blockbuster run on Netflix, which broke streaming records and led to a potential offshoot series at NBC, and the Monk reunion movie, which premieres today on Peacock and already is getting awards recognition.
Now the brand is making its way back to where it started, on the USA Network. NBCUniversal’s ad-supported cable net is plotting a return to original scripted programming with light, frothy character-based procedurals in the mold of the lineup from the “blue sky”era that included Monk, Burn Notice, Psych, Royal Pains, White Collar and Suits, Deadline has learned.
After the end of the WGA strike, NBCU scripted executives put out feelers about their USA plans and already have identified a handful of ideas they are considering for development but there are no deals yet,...

The case for Shooter Jennings as one of the premier producers in music grows more compelling by the day, and you’d get no argument from Tanya Tucker.
“He always listens to my heart,” Tucker tells Rolling Stone, offering a simple reason for Jennings’ rise behind the console.
For Jennings, such a sentiment has been more than enough validation for his 2022 decision to step away from his own touring and songwriting career to focus full-time on his studio work.

The collectible makers at Neca have created action figures inspired by several of the awesome little characters from Full Moon’s Puppet Master franchise. Their line-up includes Blade, Torch, Pinhead, and Tunneler… and in December, they’ll be releasing 7″ scale action figures based on the puppet characters Six-Shooter and Jester. An image of Neca’s Six-Shooter and Jester action figures can be seen at the bottom of this article, and more can be found on the Neca website.
The Jester puppet has been part of the Puppet Master franchise ever since the very first movie was released back in 1989. Six-Shooter entered the picture with Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge in 1991 and quickly became one of the most popular puppets in the series. Bob Lee Swagger remains one of the most badass television characters ever.
The USA Network series, Shooter, was one of the finest, coming at a time when the cable network ran supreme with endless content for everyone's viewing.
With slick action sequences, subterfuge, and adrenaline-pumping thrills, the series, more often than not, was a must-see summer show for three seasons until its unfortunate cancellation.
TV Fanatic followed along with the journey from beginning to end with full coverage in our Shooter Reviews. It is still a perfectly binge-able series that you can stream on Netflix, at least until June 21, when Netflix loses the rights for it.
It bolstered an impressive cast led by none other than Ryan Phillippe. But where is the cast now? Let's find out!
Jaina Lee Ortiz - Angela Tio
Ortiz had a small arc during Shooter Season 2, guest-starring as Angela Tio, a sergeant Bob Lee served with during the Marines.

Read on for this week’s analysis.

In Charlotte Colbert’s moody “She Will,” fallen movie idol Veronica Ghent (a riveting Alice Krige) struggles with the many masks — figurative and literal — she’s had to put on over the years. The latest is “about preservation,” icy Veronica explains in the film’s opening moments: A recent double mastectomy is the latest twist that has robbed her of yet another piece of her identity. As Colbert’s mystical first feature unfolds, Veronica is surprised by the new identities she can tap into, even if they prove less shocking to the film’s audience.
Intent on healing somewhere without prying eyes, Veronica alights for a solitary retreat in the middle of Scotland with only a young nurse in tow. Desi (Kota Eberhardt) isn’t at all impressed by her employer’s pedigree; she just wants to ensure her new charge takes care of herself, a much bigger ask than she could have possibly anticipated.

Sniper: The White Raven is a subtitled Ukrainian action drama set during the 2014 Russian invasion. Mykola (Aldoshyn Pavlo) is a pacifist physics professor, living off the grid with his wife in a hippie-style, zero carbon footprint, isolated hut. They are deliriously happy until a brutal Russian patrol runs across them, mercilessly killing the wife and leaving him for dead. Big mistake. They turned a non-threatening, non-violent fellow into a grief-stricken determined resistance fighter, creating a hard-core killer from the least likely raw material. After his understandably hapless start in boot camp, he found his niche as the eponymous sniper. Most of the film’s running time is devoted to what he does as a sharpshooter.

Exclusive: CBS has set up a writers room for drama The Great Game, produced by CBS Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman’s studio-based Secret Hideout. It will be led by the project’s co-writers/executive producers John Hlavin (The Man Who Fell to Earth) and Matthew Newman (Chicago Pd) with the goal of generating multiple scripts for a potential straight-to-series order.
The Great Game, inspired by an unpublished novel of the same name by Newman, is the second CBS drama project from the 2021-22 development cycle that the network has put on a script-to-series path by commissioning a writers room; it joins Hsi: Puerto Rico. I hear the purpose of the model is to find dramas that can bypass the pilot stage and go to series which can be produced cost-effectively.
Like its counterparts, CBS has been exploring alternatives to the traditional broadcast development model, a process that was accelerated by the pandemic.
