Impressively imaginative.
The Doctor helps to resist Irongron, and probes who's side he's on. Linx continues to plan for his escape.
It is such a good story, Linx is great, not just visually, but all of the background information is so interesting. You can just imagine Linx would want to slay Irongron, not in the slightest bit phased by the Alien visitor, even referring to him as Toad Face.
I love the encounter between Linx and The Doctor. Pertwee is great throughout, him and Sarah made a great team.
I know you shouldn't compare old and new, but The Doctor is such a definite character, he's robust, honest and just. It is established here they The Doctor doesn't lie, he just does what's right, that got lost somewhere in later years.
Thoroughly enjoyable, 8/10.
