Shannen Doherty's latest reality show Shannen Says debuted last night, and between that and Tori Spelling's recent round of attention-gathering, it hit us: Has any other show been able to spawn as many reality contestants and series as Beverly Hills 90210?Tori Spelling alone has had several reality shows. First came Tori & Dean: Inn Love, then Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and then Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings. Shannen Doherty had Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty, did a season of Dancing With the Stars, and now has her new show. Jennie Garth also did DWtS and has her own show coming out. Ian Ziering danced with the stars, and Gabrielle Carteris was on a season of The Surreal Life. Luke Perry, there but for the grace of God, etc. That's ten. Baywatch is a contender, too: Jeremy Jackson was on Celebrity Rehab, Pamela Anderson had Pam: Girl on the...

Shannen Doherty doesn't have a great track record in reality TV. She spent one season as the host of SyFy Channel's hidden camera show "Scare Tactics" (back when it was still called Sci Fi Channel). Fronted Oxygen's "Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty," which lasted a single season. And was the first celebrity eliminated on the tenth season of "Dancing with the Stars." (She's also been mocked for participating in a series of ads for online college EducationConnection.com, even though her goal is to get a degree as a tribute to her late father.) But she's not giving up just yet. Doherty's...

Back when I first heard that Lindsay Lohan would be posing nude for Playboy, I was sad. It seemed a desperate act for a once-promising young star, a final appeal for fame from someone with no other options. It seemed this could be Lohan’s last hurrah, the last time her name would grace a magazine cover (at least, until some sort of tragedy struck). But now, just one day after her Playboy cover leaked on the Web, rocketing Lohan to the top of Internet searches, I’m realizing this could hardly be the end for Lindsay Lohan. This, in fact,...

Shannen Doherty has become the first celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing With The Stars 2010.
Shannen found herself in the bottom two alongside Baywatch star Pamela Anderson but the viewers opted to save Anderson over the Charmed actress.
On hearing the news, Doherty revealed her professional partner, Mark Ballas, was nursing a serious injury which would have prevented him from continuing on the series.
She said: “I think dancing isn’t really my thing. I’m an actor and it’s what I love to do. I did this for my dad and I did exactly what I wanted and I think it’s kind of fate that my partner is hurt and he’s out for six weeks and, to be honest, I wouldn’t want to go on without Mark.”

Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty made her Dancing With The Stars debut last night. She performed a Viennese Waltz with her professional partner Mark Ballas and dedicated it to her beloved dad.
Dancing to Echo and the Bunnymen’s “The Killing Moon,” we felt like Shannen was almost going through the motions during her routine. She did the moves but there was no emotion of oomph behind them. Also she really needs to concentrate on her poor posture but we think she’ll improve….it is week one after all.
Judges Comments:
Bruno Tonioli: “That was a difficult piece of choreography for show one. It’s hard to get it right for week one. I think for me it was a little too difficult. It didn’t flow. You were swinging your arms round like a primate. It’s very difficult but you did it and you will...

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Shannen Doherty slammed the phone down on a Newsweek magazine reporter when asked about allegations she attempted to run over a former boyfriend. The actress was promoting her new series Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty where she helps people end toxic relationships with lovers, friends and employers. Newsweek reporter Nicki Gostin asked the former Charmed star about personal turmoil in her own relationships saying, "Haven't you had some bad breakups? You tried to run over a boyfriend a long time ago, right?" A terse Doherty replied, "No, and if that's the way you're going with this then I'd rather not even do the interview. I'm not going to have things rehashed from 15 years ago. I'm not going to combat lies. I can already tell what's going to be in your article." When Gostin tried to explain, the irate star interrupted saying, "Let me hang up and call my publicist and then we'll reconvene, because I'm not going down this path." The star never returned the call to complete the interview.

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Shannen Doherty was reduced to tears last week after seeing a US tabloid magazine cover declaring she'd had drastic plastic surgery, and is planning to sue the magazine. American publication Star featured Doherty on the cover with the headline "Extreme Makeover" and insinuated that she'd had a variety of plastic surgery procedures. She appeared on US talk show The View as a guest co-host yesterday where she lashed out at the tabloid and said she had hired a lawyer to sue the publication. When moderator Barbara Walters asked Doherty if she'd ever had plastic surgery she replied, "No. I'm actually willing to go so far as to go sit down with whatever plastic surgeon they want to put in front of me who can inspect my face. I went to work and my lovely hairdresser David came to me and said, 'Oh my God, did you see the cover of Star?' and I went, 'No, why?' He told me and then he pulled it up online." Doherty was left so distraught by the story, that production had to be stopped on her new series, Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty. She explains, "Production got halted for about an hour and a half because I was sobbing uncontrollably. If you didn't have it (plastic surgery) and they're saying that you did, then it's embarrassing, it's humiliating. I don't know if anybody's noticed, but I've pretty much been hiding out as much as humanly possible. I've been trying to stay out of the press because I just don't want it in my life anymore. I hired a litigator and I'm willing to put as much money behind a lawsuit as humanly possible, just to sort of teach them a lesson."...

Reformed Hollywood wildchild Shannen Doherty fought back tears as she fondly remembered TV mogul Aaron Spelling on US TV last night. The actress, who starred in two of the late producer's TV creations - Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed - took time out of promoting her new reality show Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty to remember Spelling, who died last month. Appearing on TV show Entertainment Tonight, Doherty was visibly moved as she fondly recalled the man who helped make her famous when she was still a teenager. She said, "We lost a great man. I certainly lost a man who was special to me. He helped me significantly and brought me two great shows... I grew up a lot with him. We definitely loved one another; it didn't mean we didn't fight, we did, but there was always love behind it. He did a lot for a lot of people."...
