For a less than 2 day project, this is fantastic
This film was part of the 2005 San Diego 48 Hour Film Project. Film makers have 48 hours to complete a short film--this includes filming, editing, etc. all within 2 days! I have seen hundreds of shorts that were not nearly this good--and they were usually made over a much longer period of time.
FORM 3254-A is a fantasy movie about an aging super-hero who wants to retire. However, he's been told that he must find a successor and fill out the appropriate form by one of our many helpful civil servants. By chance, he comes upon a lady with the same gift he possesses and the rest is history.
There were several wonderful moments in the film--particularly the beginning set in the government office. I loved how no one noticed or cared that Jack was wearing a super-hero uniform and mask. I also loved how the lady waiting on customers made Patty and Selma from "The Simpsons" seem kind and understanding!! All in all, a clever little film and an amazing project given its time constraints.
