*SPOILER ALERT* I caught this at the Palm Beach International Film Festival. A few years ago. This is a very well done short. The premise is simple A young woman dances with her husband on her wedding day and reflects on the life that she will soon lead. But we find out that this idyllic vision of her future is only a pipe dream. John Timmons, a gifted actor, shows great promise as a writer/ director and Rosemarie Li is radiant in the lead role. There is a Pollyannaish innocence in her portrayal of young bride trapped in a relationship that isn't what it seems. We sense that she retreats into a fantasy world to avoid the ugly truth of her situation. I look forward to seeing more work from her.
