A pageant queen going down in flames due to scandalous circumstances? Nothing new there. It all started in 1984, of course, when Miss America Vanessa Williams —the first black winner, ever— was ousted after Penthouse sweetly published lesbionic pics from her starving actress days. And then there was Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner, whose rampant drug use and sexed-up party pics were exposed online. Tragic, but at least they were adults. Today, the New York Daily News reports that Miss Delaware Teen USA Melissa King gave up her crown after a porn video surfaced allegedly starring the 18 year-old. There’s no proof it’s King, but the girl does look and sound a lot like her.
There’s more. Before the hardcore sex kicks off in the circa-June 2012 video, the girl reveals her favorite sex position…and then says that she turned 18 two months before (which would’ve been King’s birthday). Off-camera,...

The Miss USA contestants just cannot seem to stay out of trouble, can they?
Nicole Houde, 26, was arrested in New Hampshire over the weekend after she allegedly punched, scratched and bit her boyfriend Scott Nickerson, 33, when the two were arguing, reports the AP. House is the 2010 Miss New Hampshire USA and competed in the national Miss USA pageant later that year.
Nickerson and Houde were apparently fighting because Nickerson accused Houde of having an affair. He reportedly took her cell phone and refused to give it back, leading to House'd alleged attack. She was arrested for simple assault.
The 2010 Miss USA Pageant is also the pageant that featured Rima Fakih, the first Arab-American to win the title. Fakih was arrested for drunk driving back in December 2011.

Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner says she doesn't think the pageant's new photos - which feature the ladies in various states of undress and wearing lingerie - are a big deal. In fact, she welcomes the image change.
"For so many years they've tried to make the girls look as wholesome or 'Polly Purebread' as possible," Tara told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. "It's refreshing... it's sexy and you're allowed to be sexy. Women are allowed to be sexy."

The internet is buzzing about the newly released official Miss Universe photos. Images of the lace-, fishnet-, and lingerie-clad contestants in steamy poses have gained a lot of fans as well as some big detractors.
In an official statement by Donald Trump, Executive Producer of the Miss Universe Pageant, he said, "We are in a different age. They are a little bit sexy, but I'll tell you what – everybody's watching, so I have no problems with it."
A lot of people disagree with this statement, claiming it's hypocrisy in an organization that as recently as last year tried to de-throne Miss California Carrie Prejean after some racy photos surfaced. See if this CBS Morning Show video helps sway you one way or the other.
We think it's about time the pageants admitted what they are and let the girls strut their stuff. You don't have to look if it offends you.

Former Miss USA Shanna Moakler has been pretty vocal about what she thinks of Miss California Carrie Prejean's views on gay marriage. But now, Moakler, who is executive director of the Miss California USA pageant, is showing how she feels by keeping her mouth shut.
