Like Blue Collar without the other guys
pbnj127521 April 2007
The format of this show was essentially like the network Blue Collar Comedy shows, only Bill Engvall and Larry T. Cableguy weren't there. It's funny at times, but you get to missing the other two. Most of the supporting cast was on the Blue Collar show and they have some real talent, so the show is fun to watch. Rather than a theme, though, each show has a musical guest/host who participates in one skit, sings a song, and then chats with Jeff at the end, showing pictures from "before they were stars". I enjoyed watching it, but it would be nice to see a little variety of format. I do love how Jeff came out and did an opening monologue...as usual, they were funny.

If nothing else, it is as it was.

A real show. Like a lobster in pot, you pull it out when the shell is red, and that, as we all know is what Foxworth is best at. When the networks are smart enough to put Foxworthy where he's supposed to be, then that is where you'll find him.

Rather than "I came out to see him, and there he was..... gone!" It's like I've said all along about him. He's Jeff Foxworthy. Except when he's not.

When I first saw the initial episode of this show, I have to admit that it was the first time that I saw it. Since I wasn't too sure that I would like it, I ended up switching channels so I didn't really see it which makes it extremely hard to comment upon. Still I feel that I got the gist of it, and from that point I'll say that it has to be seen to be believed. Unless like myself you haven't seen it in which case it's utterly unbelievable.
