A cool whodunnit episode

Warning: Spoilers
According to the reviews, I am in the minority for this episode (and most of the series), hooray... Well, I really love this episode because it's very fun and tells an interesting mystery story while incorporating a "Scooby-Doo" esque feel into it, along with everything else that make "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers" what it is now.

This episode has a form of the "murderer" (but not really because this is a kid's show) whodunnit episode in a way where they don't do the idiotic form of letting the audience play God (if you know, you know), which gives the story more of the mystery feel. The humor feels more tuned down and some of colors are darker to match the dreerie feel of it all. I really like it as it invests me into the episode more and keeps me energized with the (somewhat scarce amount of) jokes throughout the episode.

As expected, of course my homeslice Brandy is to blame for stealing everyone's possessions (which leads to some really funny jokes, including my favorites being Gaspar's accent and Brandy's jabs in the beginning), and gets sent straight to jungle prison and has a lawyer that doesn't know how to pronounce "In The Amazon Rainforest" correctly. If you couldn't tell, this ends in utter chaos as Whiskers goes to performs a whole "Mystery Incorporated" style detective search.

Now, this part of the episode is really fun as Whiskers goes around looking for suspects. Like other episodes such as "Curses!" and "Funky Bunny", he (despite his TikTok influencer level IQ) acts like such a caring friend in this episode, which is really nice to see for multiple reasons. I explained it more in depth in my "Curses!" review.

Brandy is also really fun in this episode. She constantly has really funny remarks in this episode and her attempts to try and escape are very creative for Brandy, considering that she has 150 IQ at 15 (14 in 2004 episodes, 15 in 2005 episodes, etc).

One thing to mention is the ending. I really don't like the fact that Brandy has to suffer in jail again despite being proven to not be the thief. They only put her back in to make another juggling joke with Whiskers and because the reason his brain committed the crimes was due to her "being mean" to Whiskers. Dude, this is LATE SEASON 1, Brandy's not that mean!

Despite all of that, I can't not give this episode a 10/10. It's unfair, I know. But I just love this show/episode too much...
