This was a great halftime show and Janet and Justin were very entertaining and , as always, both singers were at their best .
An unfortunate wardrobe malfunction occoured and , wow, half the nation and media had a fit and a field day because of it. Stupid. Actually believing that Janet Jackson would purposely try to get this kind of publicity for herself.
She was already a long established artist, she wasn't hurting for atention and sure didn't need that kind. What happened, happened and it's equally ridiculous that people thought Justin did it on purpose.
Goes with the same idea, that he wouldn't want that kind of attention either. Certainly, if that had happened in the last few years,, they'd be calling to 'cancel' him ...but what would that accomplish?
It's been 18 years since Janet's unintended 'exposure' , hardly matters now and it shouldn't have mattered then. It's the 21st century and people still have needless, immature hang ups about the human body.
There's far more serious things in the world we have to worry about than that, since it occoured, that's for certain.
The halftime show itself, aside from it's controversy? 10 stars, it was Janet and Justin at the top of their game...which was more than I can say for the football game itself, which was a yawner. (END)
