Freaking Awesome - Can Inspire anyone
pcxt21 August 2010
This documentary of 50 minutes can Inspire anyone for their lifetime.

This film involves bodybuilding, but its not a bodybuilding film, Its about a persons desire, determination, asking for support & The required Guidance.

Even though I am only 32 years old, I almost left the Idea of setting a goal be it in bodybuilding or in life, thinking life is almost at the end now! Even if I go to gym or jogging, its just a routine for me attending only few times a month.

But it took an old man, who was almost blind almost his life and nearing blindness to take courage of setting a goal offered by an expert and sticking to it & achieving what many would not have thought could be possible. Truly Inspiring, great, wonderful.

Congrats Ray, Well done Sebastian!

What friends are all about

This was a great documentary. It almost plays like a movie. At first I thought it might be a bunch of weight lifting stuff, but then I found myself really pulling for the main characters, especially Ray Taylor. The whole film really illustrates what good friendships are all about and what a person can achieve when they really focus, even if they are going blind. Facing Goliath isn't just a film about bodybuilding. It's about not being afraid to go after a dream.

Too many people my age and older think that once we get to a certain point in our lives we have to accept that we are past having new adventures and new experiences. Facing Goliath is a great reminder to all of us that we should never stop believing in our ability to successfully reach for new experiences.
