No, it's actually a fitting title... you see, the documentary is just as vague

As far as length goes, this one fits right down the middle, of the featurettes on the DVD of Sahara, with a running time of 14 and a half minutes sans credits(15 with). It consists of interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the film. I think this is best described as one of those "dumping ground" productions, that just has everything put in that they assembled, that works, but that there isn't enough of to justify dedicating a full one to it, and yes, as usual, it has a very distinct feel of just being thrown together - not the individual parts, mind you, those are done well, but the overall mix. At first it quickly goes into dealing with the hostile physical environment, then goes on to detail Zahn, McConaughey and Cruz for the characters(half of it being the actors talking about it, getting cast, about the roles, etc.; this middle part, whilst informational, has a promotional approach to it, and is also one of those boring love-fests where everyone was great to work with and every quality they have is fantastic and so on and so forth - looking at the people making a movie can be interesting, but it needs to be honest, and is preferably not terribly long... hence why it was among the other things in this), and finally briefly goes into stunts and the wise choice of practical FX over CGI. I recommend this only to those who want to know as much as they can about the flick itself. 6/10
