Beginnings and endings
Something of an uneven episode, with the first part of the episode mostly concerned with clearing up the fallout from the previous instalment.Irene makes a fair point about there being better and more mature ways for Hayley to finish with Aidan-but his reaction demonstrates that some people just won't listen, no matter how hard you tell them.
The second half then picks up the continuing Don/Seb storyline, as once again they seem to take one step forward and two steps back.In Nick's defence, what happens isn't entirely his fault but he probably should have given the photo back. Then again why does Don give Seb a photo album in the middle of school?(It also has to be said Nick's new girlfriend is kinda cute and it's a shame she's dropped as soon as her storyline's over).
The subplot about the boys starting a band seems to have come out of the same nowhere as Nick's sub-Duncan reversion to jerkdom and Alex and Brodie's relationship troubles.
Running throughout the episode is the ongoing Ralph saga with Alan Cinis playing the character as so slimy you wonder why Vinnie and Leah trust him.You get the feeling this is going to come to a head soon though.
