The Laughing Policeman
No, this is not the Walter Matthau film nor a remake of that remake of the old Swedish crime thriller. Familiar character actor Scott Michael Campbell (Monroe in "Brokeback Mountain") plays a wounded cop who can't stop laughing -- that is, until he starts having pain so intense that no amount of morphine can quiet him. Unfortunately, whatever he's got, Foreman now has. And whatever it is, they're both put in strict isolation as the clock starts to run out on both their lives. The key to their debility is somewhere in the cop's office or home, and it's up to House and what's left of his team to ferret it out. Cameron's still peeved at Foreman about the stolen paper. Part 1 of a 2-parter. Omar Epps, a pretty darned good movie actor, really gets to strut his stuff in this episode and reminds us just how good an actor he can be.

Among my favorite episodes
A sick laughing cop gets shot and Foreman investigates the house then gets sick himself. I absolutely love how interesting and complex this 2 part episode is! The cops house is beyond filthy an important note to be more cautious of many severe sicknesses. Very thrilling one with top notch performances and extraordinary measures! Unfortunate, spectacular one that is exceedingly intriguing.
