- The episode begins with Ray and Debra playing video games in the living room. They're playing a game on the Nintendo 64. While playing, they start to get a little frisky, but Marie interrupts them by barging into the house. Marie explains that it's the second anniversary of Robert's divorce and he's doing nothing but mope around all day. So she insists that Ray go over to the house and cheer him up...spend some time with him. So Ray heads over there and after an awkward conversation, the two of them end up going to the movies. When they arrive back at home, they laugh and have a good time talking about the action movie they just saw. Then they reminisce about their childhood. They laugh about the time they got into their mother's Sucrets and she freaked out. They also talked about school. They mentioned a fellow student Mike Kimmelman making fun of the Assistant Principal Mrs. McAffree's wooden leg. As Robert left to go home, he thanked Ray for taking him out. And Ray made the mistake of saying it was his parents' idea. Robert then feels angry. So Ray follows him back over to his parents' house and they talk. While talking, Frank and Marie walk in, then the two of them begin making fun of their parents. The Sucrets incident came up again and there were jokes about Frank's baldness. The next day, Robert just wants to talk with Ray because he had so much fun the previous day. Ray feels uncomfortable when talking about feelings. So when Robert asks an embarrassing question, Ray gives in and responds with something awkward and even more embarrassing. After a brief silence, they turn the TV on.
- Robert is feeling lonely on the 2nd anniversary of his divorce. Robert is sitting all alone with his dog, looking very sad. Frank is yelling at Robert to snap out of it. Frank and Marie suggest to Ray that he take Robert out to get his mind off it. Frank and Marie find Robert depressing in his current state and Amy (Monica Horan) is out of town and hence can't be of any help. Debra is disgusted that nobody in the family can speak to Robert and console him. Marie doesn't want to send Debra as she is not family. Debra suggests that Ray takes Robert to the movies as there is no talking at the movies. Ray wants Debra to have sex with him in return for this favor.
Ray gets to Frank and Marie's house and asks Robert out for a movie. Ray says that Debra is busy with the kids. It turns out to be a good night. Ray and Robert go to the movies and spend time together. They get back to Ray's home. They remember their childhood days and specific incidents where Marie caught them eating a whole box of Sucrets and thought they were drug addicts. Marie got so afraid that she flushed the children's aspirin down the toilet. They remember other stories from school and Robert is happy. Robert used to call Ray "right-behind-me Raymond". They have chocolate milk together. The assistant principal at the school had a wooden leg. Robert knew it was the left one since it did not have any hair on it. Robert is about to go, when Ray reveals that it was Frank and Marie's idea. Robert is upset that this was charity and pity towards him.
Ray goes over to Frank and Marie to speak to Robert. Robert was polishing his police boots. Ray says that he wanted to go with Robert. But then Robert and Ray team up to have fun against Frank & Marie. They make fun of Marie having Sucrets under lock and key. They make fun of Marie as she has a sore throat as she is always talking. Then they as if they are all hopped up on the Sucrets. They rag Frank on his Korean war record. Frank says that there were no medicines in Korean. Everything was fixed with a band-aid, and you were told to "snap out of it" or "walk it off". Ray laughs that war was fought with cliches like that.
Robert wants to take Ray fishing & Ray doesn't want to go as fishing is too quiet and Ray is afraid Robert might want to talk about feelings. Debra goes to put the kids to sleep. Robert sits with Ray in front of the TV and wants to talk to him. Ray gets really uncomfortable. Robert asks Ray is he had to sleep with Debra to figure out if he was really in love with her. Ray admits that he is uncomfortable talking to Robert since he is his elder brother.
Later Ray tells him that he actually loved spending time with him, and they make up.
