At about 7:28 is a wide shot of the dinner table with Scully's family. Scully comes in grabs her napkin and sits down. It then cuts to another shot with Scully already sitting down and picking up her napkin again.
Before the opening credit sequence, when Scully approaches the bathtub where the naked dead woman is, the dead woman is clearly wearing a flesh-colored tube top.
Detective Kresge mentioned that Roberta Sims may have consumed a new drug, doritriptan, prior to her apparent suicide after having found multiple empty drug samples in her bathroom and purse. When Scully picked up one of the sample drug packets, you can see a Drug Identification Number (DIN) printed on the product. DINs are unique drug identifiers used in Canada. The U.S. equivalent is the National Drug Code (NDC).
When Bill Scully shows Dana Scully the picture of Melissa, he tells her to look at the date, "Oct. 7 - 94." He then tells Dana that the picture was taken four weeks before Emily Sim was born, therefore she couldn't be Melissa's daughter. In actuality, the date only represents when the photo was printed. Depending on how the film/negative was stored, the photo could be months or even years old before being printed.
The actress playing Dana Scully as a child has brown eyes, while Gillian Anderson has blue eyes.
