Cap'n John Herrick: Yep - a little ragged around the edges.
Billy Slocum: I'll be glad when it ends.
Cap'n John Herrick: Shouldn't wish your life away, Billy.
Billy Slocum: Oh, I won't do that. I'm gonna get myself home, get myself a hot bath, a hot rib dinner and take me to the ballgame.
Cap'n John Herrick: It'll be a good game. I'm gonna watch it on television.
Billy Slocum: I didn't know you was that old, Captain John.
Cap'n John Herrick: Old? What was age got to do with watching a game on television? I just happen to like my comfort.
Billy Slocum: Sure, I understand... What was baseball like in those day?
Cap'n John Herrick: Those days? What days?
Billy Slocum: Was Christy Matthewson as good as they said he was?
