In this episode Bronson plays 'Harge Talbot', a man with a gang of rustlers who is about to have his 1st child yet is driven equally bent on revenge on The Virginian who he believes is the only man responsible for Talbot's little brother "Jamie's" death on a botched bank-robbery on which The Virginian was suppose to be on but declined at the last minute realizing what the gang was going to do. He wanted no part of that.
A very simple story line but still exciting nonetheless. Bronson as the leader of this gang of desperado's is well cast. As is the lovely Miriam Colon as his wife,'Eva', She plays the role very low key who in a sense acts as Bronson's conscience.
As 'Arnie',one of the gang, Charles Grodin just oozes badness. Acting like snake that his character is. I had always knew Grodin could play a real bad or mean guy and this role just confirms it.
The late character actor Ross Hagen plays another member of the gang named 'Bassett',and the late great Kenneth Tobey has a bit as the sheriff not being able to do much. Rounding out the cast are 'Ironside's' Don Mitchell and Abbott & Costello regular , Dick Foran.
