A conflict of duties keeps James Drury from a horse buying trip to Montana. So
that responsibility is given to young Tim Matheson along with $4000.00 of Shiloh
money to complete the deal with horse trader Peter Bromilow whose a bombastic
sort of British immigrant.
Unfortunately Horn falls into the hands of a pair of sharpies Anne Helm and Burr DeBenning. They relieve him of the money and skedaddle across the border to a hideout where hospitality is provided by Lawrence Dane known as the Frenchman for a price.
Tim Matheson has found a home at Shiloh and doesn't want to blow it. It's a big responsibility he carries.
You'll have to tune in to see how Matheson deals with it.
