Maya Plisetskaya - Unbelievable grace!
A short section of this show was the Russian dancer Maya Plisetskaya. Like many great dancers, she is truly unbelievable. The grace and expression is simply beautiful. The dance is fairly short, and makes one wish there was more, but as was typical of the show, there were many different events that evening.
One does not have to be ballet trained, nor even a follower of ballet to see the grace and beauty of the dance. What is also interesting to see is the tremendous strength which is required to have the perfect control of movement, while making everything look s natural. It seems as if there is no other possible way in which the dancer could move, because every movement so perfectly follows, and yet in fact it is only through strength that Plisetskaya is able to control movement so well.
