This story is set in 1945 England during the last months of World War II. In Havenhurst's POW camp German POW Lieutenant Luger is sent after an escape attempt in which he spied on one of his own men for spending the rest of the war in a prison camp since he thinks he can have lots of privileges. Havenhurst's new Commander Major Nicholson thinks Luger is a traitor and a coward that only thinks about himself and places him back in the general population. The German prisoners are planning an escape and ask Luger to lead them but after a while he discovers that one of the men he betrayed is brought to the camp hospital and his betrayal will be exposed to his fellow POWs unless he kills him and he can escape for real, but not without some incident along the way.
I hoped to like this episode as the previous two were very bad, but as the minutes passed, I thought that the series had it rock bottom since they moved to London. I thought that Martin was only a selfish jerk that only acted for his profit, and his end was kinda expected. Another bad episode, and, with so many war movies about escapes from POW camps, why not watch them instead? They are worth your time unlike this sorry excuse of an episode.
