A well written and enjoyable show.

This is one of those episode that was very well written and performed perfectly by the actors. The main story involves Mike and Nikki finally getting together. But for some reason Mike wants to keep the relationship a secret. Mike even turns into a 'Judas' when he has to deny Nikki in a public sitting. This story had all the elements that make for an entertaining watch. There is even a nice little scene where Mike is a 'problem solver' that has to be watched since it contains an absolutely funny concept.

Another story involves the Mayor, Stuart, James and Carter being involved with a new police vehicle that is suppose to help with crime. The high tech truck is a monitoring device for the police to better protect the citizens. But when the gang of four are placed in charge of the truck for the evening, things do not go well.

Was very impressed with the writing of this episode. Other than a small skit about Paul calling Stacey's number thinking it's a psychic, the material was top-notched. There a lot of one liners in this show so the viewer has to be on their toes. One of the better episode from season three.

The funniest episode thus far

Warning: Spoilers
Watching Spin City was always a lot of fun. With that said, there were some episodes that made you laugh harder than others. Internal Affairs made me laugh the hardest of any episode thus far. Nikki and Mike are finally getting together. The trick is they are trying to hide it. They go to great lengths to do so. The culmination of this is hilarity.

Most of the jokes in this episode are delivered with perfection. The sexual tension (and jokes involving this fact) were fantastic. This is comedy at its finest and I would recommend this episode above all others to this point. Some character understanding may be necessary to truly appreciate the episode but this is a great show and this is a great episode.
