In this series, Jonathan Ohn was a scientist who was fired from his work at Stark Industries by Tony Stark for Ohn's work involves creating dimensional portals. Since the events of the episodes Sins of the Fathers Chapter 10: Venom Returns (1996) and Sins of the Fathers Chapter 11: Carnage (1996), Stark thought it would be best if Ohn's work was shut down. Kingpin locates Ohn, pretending to appreciate Ohn's job of creating dimensional portals, and gives him a job with a woman whom he's attracted to named Dr. Silvia Lopez. In the comics, Dr. Jonathan Ohn was a scientist working for the Kingpin, assigned to reproduce the radiation levels of the superhero Cloak to find a way to artificially mimic his powers.
Dr. Silvia Lopez is a character that was created for this show, she did not appear in the comics.
