It isn't Vicki's episode entirely, but she does dominate -- Gena only appears for the last few minutes, which quixotically includes one of her best moments (the very final few seconds, as Nelson gives her his food). Vicki seems to have been appreciated enough to be given an additional (non-Darak'na) role as well, since no credit is specified for the blond who interacts with Quigley in the bar. If that is indeed Phillips, we may use that as debate fodder as to whether the show would have been better or worse had she had been cast as Sheena, and not just Sheena's action double.
The middle 5 mins or so of this episode is little more than chase-sequence filler -- when it feels dull, simply FFWD to the next chapter break. Besides that, the remainder of this episode rides strong on Quigley's grumbles and guest star Henry Polic, who does very well fleshing out his character. Overall, quite entertaining, especially when Quigley or Polic are on-screen. One of the best episodes of the show, despite the African-American actors being unable to sound convincingly African.
Reasons to watch:
- unusually good look at Vicki Phillips' Darak'na makeup, plus her bar scene
- character arc for Henry Polic's Professor
- Quigley's comments
