A much larger version of Fusilli Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) appears in Kramer's (Michael Richards) apartment during the photo shoot.
Kramer's alias of Dr. Von Nostrand appears. The alter-ego has also appeared in The Nose Job (1991) and The Slicer (1997).
In a July 2012 NY Times interview, Jerry Seinfeld talked about his love for the legendary "Who's On First?" comedy routine performed by Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. He said he experienced a "Who's on first?"-like moment in this when Jerry and Kramer shared the following bit of dialogue: Jerry: "You don't even know what a write-off is." Kramer: "Do you?" Jerry: "No, I don't." Kramer: "But they do, and they are the ones writing it off."
A "write-off" is a business expense that can be claimed as a tax deduction on a federal income tax return, thereby lowering the total amount assessed for taxes.
