- Kramer invests in a new non-fat yogurt store.
- Kramer invests in a new new non-fat yogurt store, which becomes a hit in the city. Jerry and Elaine discover that they've been gaining weight and wonder if the yogurt really is non-fat. Jerry tries to unravel this mystery while dealing with a neighbor's kid who saw his act during a rare instance of him unleashing profanities on-stage. Meanwhile, George runs into former childhood acquaintance Lloyd Braun, who is working on the mayoral campaign for incumbent Mayor Dinkins, but the campaign is quickly jeopardized when Elaine proposes a nametag system. The mayoral campaign is also jeopardized when Kramer dates one of the lab technicians and accidentally spills some of the yogurt into Giuliani's blood sample.—halo1k
- Everyone is enjoying the no-fat yogurt from a new store that's just opened in the neighborhood. Nobody can quite believe that something that tastes so good could be fat-free but Kramer, who is part-owner, assures everyone that it is. When both Jerry and Elaine put on weight, they doubt it's fat-free and decide to have it tested. Meanwhile, George runs into an old neighbor and competitor, Lloyd Braun, who now works in the Mayor's office, and a little white lie leads to George going to a doctor on a referral by the Mayor. Elaine has a suggestion for Braun to use in the Mayor's upcoming re-election bid.—garykmcd
- Jerry, Elaine and George eat at a non-fat frozen yogurt shop in which Kramer has invested. The yogurt is delicious, and they (along with Newman (Wayne Knight)) indulge, as it is "non-fat." When Kramer notices that Jerry and Elaine have gained weight, they become suspicious of the yogurt's contents. Elaine decides to send the yogurt to a laboratory for testing, who charge her $45 for the service.
Meanwhile, Jerry accidentally uses the word "fuck" (which is censored) near the shop owner's son Matthew (John Christian Graas), who then starts to use the word frequently. The mother, Mary, complains to Jerry that now the boy only says "fuck" and asks Jerry to speak to him. When he tries to apologize, the boy ruins one of Jerry's cassette tapes (on which Jerry had recorded material for his new show based on the Ottoman Empire), causing Jerry to curse yet again, this time using the words "fuck" and "shit" (which are, again, censored).
Elaine meets Lloyd at the yogurt place. Elaine's new beau and George's nemesis, Lloyd Braun (Peter Keleghan), works as an aide to the mayor of New York City, David Dinkins, currently up for re-election against Rudy Giuliani. Lloyd used to live in George's old neighborhood and would drive everyone crazy with his stories about Dinkins & the city politics. George's parents are especially fond of him and constantly berate George in front of him. George hates Lloyd. Elaine suggests that everyone in the city wear name tags, so that they can greet each other. Lloyd takes the idea to Dinkins, much to everyone else's ridicule. Braun eventually breaks up with Elaine; she claims that it is the fault of her weight gain from eating the yogurt. Elaine sat on a chair in Lloyd's apartment and it broke.
George nudges a "we should get going" gesture with his arm, which Lloyd mistakes for a spasm. George plays along and keeps faking the spasm whenever Lloyd is around or mentioned. When Dinkins gives Lloyd the option to give to George to go see a doctor, George does so as he doesn't want Lloyd to think that he is lying. But the doctor (Hugh A. Rose) thinks George is faking his spasm. George's spasm turns into a real one after banging the doctor's desk upon leaving, now worrying George.
Kramer, fearful of losing his investment, tries to sway a lab technician to falsify the analysis of the yogurt. In the process, they kiss passionately, and a sample of blood with high cholesterol falls into a test tube belonging to Rudy Giuliani. In the end, though, the lab reveals that the yogurt does, indeed, contain fat. Business plummets, especially when Giuliani receives the results of a physical claiming that he has high cholesterol.
Giuliani reveals that he, too, has eaten a great deal of frozen yogurt lately, and vows to eliminate false advertising in the city. The yogurt shop now serves real non-fat yogurt which doesn't taste very good, leaving Newman furious and blaming Jerry and vowing to get back at him. The episode ends with the main characters watching Giuliani deliver his victory speech over Dinkins; the "name tag fiasco" cost him the election, leaving Elaine (unbeknownst to the others) embarrassingly upset and responsible. Matthew calls Jerry a "fat fuck" for ruining his father's business.
