- GoofsAn establishing shot of a DC-10, a large wide-body airliner, depicts Jerry's flight. But the following scene takes place in the first-class section of what looks like a much smaller jet.
- Quotes
Jerry Seinfeld: On my block, a lot of people walk their dogs, and I always see them walking along with their little poop bags, which to me is just the lowest function of human life. If aliens are watching this through telescopes, they're gonna think the dogs are the leaders. If you see two life forms, one of them's making a poop, the other one's carrying it for him, who would you assume was in charge?

The Dog is a very funny episode, that has an excellent story, Jerry's way of telling the dog Farfel to shut up were hilarious!
*plot*. This time around Jerry has to take care of a person's dog, because he is in the hospital, while Elaine and George realize they have nothing in common, while Kramer is having problems breaking up with his girlfriend Ellen.
The Dog is a very funny episode, that has an excellent story, Jerry's way of telling the dog Farfel to shut up were hilarious!. I thought the scenes where they make fun of Jerry (throwing up, gargling was hilarious), and this is very well written by Larry David, plus Tom Cherones does another perfect job of directing. I also loved the way Kramer 1st tried to break up with Ellen, and Jerry's stand up scenes were quite funny, especially the opening one, plus I liked the ending as well. It's very well made, and there also a lot of laughs when Elaine takes care of the dog for one night, plus the opening with Gavin (dog owner) and Jerry on the plane was quite amusing. The Dog is a very funny episode, that has an excellent story, Jerry's way of telling the dog Farfel to shut up were hilarious, and I say it's a must see for all Seinfeld fans!, if you haven't. ****1/2 out of 5
Favorite quotes.
Gavin: Do you have any pets. Jerry: Just my next door neighbor.
*Jerry struggling with Farfel* Jerry: Let Go Farfel, let go give me that, give me that sneaker you stupid idiot. (Dog keeps barking). Jerry: Shut up!.
Jerry: Two hundred seats on a plane,I gotta wind up sitting next to Yukon Jack, and his dog Cujo.
George: let's go people, let's go it's Prognosis Negative time, Mwa ha ha ha!.
George: So what's the problem?, just put some newspaper down. Jerry: No I don't want that smell in the house. George: So you spritz a little Lysol on it. Jerry: No it's like BO and cologne, they combine into some sort of strange mutant funk.
*Kramer breaking up with Ellen*. Kramer: I must have been out of my mind, look at you, why don't you do something with your life, you sit around here all day, you contribute nothing to society, you're just taking up space, I mean how can I be with someone like you, wouldn't respect myself.
Kramer: Please!, Please!, I take it all back, everything, every word, I love you!, I love you!, I can't live without you , I'll do anything.
Elaine: Give me that jacket, mud face, this is not Seinfeld you're dealing with, when I get through with you, You'll be begging to go to the pound.
Elaine: Hello?, no who's calling?, oh my god the dog guy, well where have you been, yeah well you better pick up your dog tonight, or he's humped his last leg.
Gavin: Prediction, you'll be calling me, to ask if you can come and visit him, before the month is out. Jery: Prediction I never see you or him again for the rest of my life.
