A surprisingly adult, horror-themed episode of the show. A mysterious chest is uncovered from the depths of the ocean, but once it's opened the crew members begin to become possessed by evil spirits, one at a time. The obvious inspiration for this one is THE EVIL DEAD and it's a not-bad stab at the genre; certainly not one for the kids watching.

The first season was pretty good actually, if you could get past all the Global Warming, IPCC poo. But then it really started taking a nose dive in Season 2.
In this particulary horrible episode, the intrepid Seaquest & some silly researchers uncover a Pandora's Box. In this series second example of horrible gun control, the pretty blonde actually points her itty bitty pistol at the underside of the First Officer's chin WITH HER FINGER ON THE TRIGGER.
