During JD's surgery, his endotracheal tube dangles loosely from his mouth. This tube secures his airway during general anesthaesia and would be securely taped in place.

Carla states that Dr. Benson's blood pressure is "60 over palp " which suggests that his blood pressure was taken using the palpation method. This is only done in an emergency situation when the equipment to assess blood pressure is not available. This would be at the best poor practice in the hospital setting.
