Ferrell does commercial that starts with him in a home nursery discussing his concerns about the baby's diaper care. As he reaches into the bassinet, the mother bursts into the room, revealing him to be an intruder. It is actually a commercial for a home security company.
Colin Quinn does Weekend Update. China celebrating 50 years of rule Communist with fireworks. Dan Quayle pulls out campaigning to be the 1992 Republican presidential nominee. Another hopeful nominee, George W. Bush, is reported to have hearing loss. Colin blames it on coke use. Cocomura Japanese nuclear high level radiation. Point counter point: Soft money in political campaigns. Segment called "Common Ground" Real Jerry complains about drawstring pants at The Gap. Fallon's impersonation of Jerry argues. Jerry calls him an "ignorant blank." Colin says in the future the segment "Common Ground" will not have a person debate themselves.
David Bowie tears into a distorted sound mix (booming bass) of Rebel, Rebel. NBC programmers alter an existing show to "...And a Pizza Place."
Follow up to Seinfeld. Due to Jerry's sarcastic comments about prison guards in the Seinfeld finale, he ends up in a prison in a show named "Oz." Jerry complains about the poor gym equipment. Jerry encounters interplay between harsh prison life with the waggish tone of the series including make up sex ("The Postponement") and "The Contest."
