In the book "Live From New York - an uncensored history of Saturday Night Live", music coordinator John Zonars recounts that Sinéad O'Connor refused to film a promo for the show on Thursday, which most of the crew thought was a rude thing to do. She rehearsed a different a cappella selection from one of her record albums on Thursday, and her manager told him on Saturday that she wanted to the Bob Marley song "War" instead. During the dress rehearsal version, she held up a photograph of a child and made a statement about child abuse, which really captivated the audience. This is the version that was shown on the West Coast and in repeats.
In first installment of "Tori" ends with the announcement that the next show would be broadcast from the "Love Boat Room" in the Spelling house. The second and last installment does indeed take place in that room as seen in Glenn Close/Black Crowes (1992).
