A reasonably diverting Rocky Jones adventure (part 1)
With the Orbit Jet crippled by a meteor strike, Rocky and Bobby make an emergency landing on a planet inhabited by 'primitive' people who see the heroic Space Ranger as either a returning God or as the vanguard of invading space-colonialists. This is the first Rocky Jones episode to suggest that there is 'someone' outside of our solar system and that they have a 'faster than light' drive, but unfortunately not a lot is done with this intriguing concept. The indigenous people (which of course includes a pretty cave-girl) are typical fur-clad primitives and there is some political shuffling going on between the Valley People and the Mountain People which Rocky lands in the middle of. Pretty typical hybrid of 50's style space-opera and jungle-opera and a bit different form Rocky's usual outings.
