At 4:00 in the morning Quincy is awakened by a man at his boat who's injured and dies before Quincy can save him. He takes him to the morgue and performs an autopsy on him, but later all evidence - including the body - has disappeared.
A friend of Quincy's runs to Quincy's boat, but dies before Quincy can reach him. Quincy brings him to the morgue and performs an autopsy, but the next morning, all records of the man disappear as does his body. The young assistant who helped Quincy turns up dead. When Quincy tries to put the pieces together, he meets someone who's using his deceased friend's name.—Peter Harris
At 4:00 A.M. one morning Quincy is awakened by the arrival of a man at his boat. He is in a very bad shape and he dies before Quincy can do anything to save him. He takes him to the morgue and does an autopsy on him. The next morning Quincy is surprised to find that his results and slides have not turned up. When he goes to find out why he finds out that they are not all that is missing, so is the body. Without any proof of a body everyone thinks that he must have been mistaken, especially when Monaghan visits the man's workplace and finds him there.
