The DVD extra's feature "casting test" footage in which Ed Williams is seen performing the lab scenes from this episode, first pretending to talking to young Billy, sending him away with the original line "Tommorrow we'll discuss how to get snot of suede" which was changed to "Next week don't forget to bring in those magazines you found under your father's bed" and then miming showing slides. He performs these scenes several times in a row.
