Another Constitutional Issue Visits Town
Hitchcoc11 May 2022
I don't have much to say here. I really feel sorry for the character of Judge Henry Bone, who must oversee the tribulations of a town full of self indulgent whiners who can't seem to understand what the implications of constitutional law. Virtually every episode involves him being assaulted by bigots and zealots (those two ministers are so tiresome, especially that priest). They continually talk about human rights but are perfectly willing to take away the rights of those with whom they disagree. I agree the "then they came for me" philosophy. Give power over to one entity and the snowball effect happens. History has proven that. Today we have Putin and Ukraine. Then we have the recent Supreme Court leak and the degradation of women and minorities in our own country. Enough said. I'm also tired of the smugness of the sheriff and his tiresome wife.
