During a demonstration with two bar magnets, Ian Fraser tells Mr. Hartley that opposite magnetic poles repel. The reverse is true; opposite poles attract, and like poles repel.
The still shots of the "power plant" include a shot of an oil refinery and a gas plant.
Prof. Fraser claims that opposite poles repel during his demonstration with the bar magnets. Opposite poles attract while same poles repel each other. However, he may have just been talking in the context of changing to the pole opposite to when they attract.
During the final polarity reversal sequence, a male assistant was asked to take over the controls from Eva Fraser because she, while hanging onto her husband's hand, was too far away to reach them. Instead, the hands shown at the controls at this point were a repeat of previous shots with Eva's hands. She had been wearing a diamond ring, and had manicured, polished finger nails.
After the conclusion of one of the experiments, everyone gathers around to look at the results. The camera is positioned below everyone, looking straight up toward the ceiling. In one shot a crewman can be seen standing up in the rafters just over Dr. Fraser's right shoulder.
