Felix gets a registered letter to appear at the IRS office, when he gets there he finds he only needs to sign his check, in his nervousness he blurts out that his roommate Oscar is the one that should be investigated... and they do.
There is a great contrast of the duo's tax returns. The tax examiner (Vivian Bonnell) praises Felix on sending in the most beautiful tax return she ever saw (cover and everything!) and then tells Oscar he has the worst one (he sends in receipts on footballs, cocktail napkins, old shoes) saying winos send in better ones on a brick. Funniest scene is when Felix tries to break the news to Oscar about him being investigated by the IRS. He says that it's a funny story and cannot stop laughing (Tony Randall has one of the funniest and infectious laughs ever). Hilarious episode and one of the best.
