OK, I Guess

The series is limping to its conclusion. Michelle decides to put on a play, William Inge's "Bus Stop." Obviously, the usual group ends up being cast. This includes Erick, one of the gay men who run the B and B. Soon everyone is falling apart. They aren't learning lines; they are getting drunk; they can't find a direction. Chris has one of the leads and is supposed to kiss Maggie. He falls apart during rehearsals. It's a disaster. Of course, at some point a miraculous cure comes along, a realization as to what can be done. Meanwhile, the Capras continue their separation. He is hardly a delight, not getting what he is doing to gum up the works. I found this episode a bit of a struggle.
