A wolves den of stage mothers, fathers and nanny's.

Warning: Spoilers
Maxwell and Fran become involved with Gracie's school pageant, giving lots of opportunity for theater related jokes at the expense of officious school administrators, hammy children and their obnoxious parents. Fran is set to direct (which upsets principal Marie Cheatham) but eventually Maxwell steps in, upsetting Fran. Some of the details within the producing of the show seem truly forced, but the presence of an overly cheery (but obnoxious) little girl (making advances to Brighton simply because she knows who his father is) does add some laughs. Cheatham, a shining light from the soaps (and memorably being smashed through the ceiling along with Dick Cavett in "Beetlejuice") is hysterically uppity.
