Asks one good question. Why is Fran still the nanny?

Warning: Spoilers
The one thing I realize is I watch more episodes of the show years after they first aired is that it isn't as funny as it was back then. The issues concerning Maxwell Sheffield as producer of Broadway shows aren't always believe will, especially here when they go to the Tonys. Ironically, this will Liza Minnelli look-alike played by a woman. Thanks to tabloid photos, it's revealed that Maxwell and Fran allegedly had an affair while his wife was still alive, and that makes oldest child Maggie very upset. There's very little of Brighton and Gracie although Gracie is utilized as a ploy to get Fran into Maggie's room. It's also obvious that the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Maxwell rivalry isn't as funny as it originally was. Also, the presence of Spalding Gray in the recurring role all of the therapist becomes tiresome as well. Not a horrible episode, but not classic either.
