A quality episode.
Karen Hartson and Alan Scobie are discovered dead at a hotel roon, Luke is determined to discover the killer, and forms a posthumous link to Karen.
It's funny in 2021 hearing the name mentioned in such a way, 2020 saw the arrival of Karen, she's a woman who complains, moans, our Karen here is very beautiful, and draws out a different side of Luke.
It's very good, there is a real quality in this first series of episodes, it's well made, it's funny, and I really do enjoy the relationship Luke has with his colleagues. I really enjoyed the opening sequences, so sixties and funny, such a contrast to the grizzly discovery which is made at the hotel.
Adam Kotz was very good here.
Hard to fault, 8/10.
