Maude's Close Encounter
Maude says she saw a flying saucer but no one believes her.
A very funny episode. We see and hear the whirring noises and lights as we watch the expression on Maude's face. There is a funny scene with Maude and Vivian as Maude keeps getting impatient with Vivian's long winded story in which she says she once saw Santa Claus! Two interesting guest stars in the second half. Richard Kline ("Three's Company") plays a TV new reporter named Tuggy McKenna. Don Beddoe an old time character actor (he was in classic films like "The Best Years Of Our Lives" and "Night Of The Hunter") is a retired judge who also says he saw the flying saucer. He also says he saw a lot more in the funniest scene.
