Maude's ex husband Albert sends her a letter saying he may die soon, but she doesn't take it seriously since he always exaggerated.
There are several episodes in the series about death and this is a funny one, especially in the second half. Maude gets a visit from a man from mortuary Mr Joe (Phil Leeds). He says Albert died and brings Maude his ashes. His last request was to have them sprinkled around a lodge where he and Maude had their honeymoon. The funniest scene is in the lodge where a maid is hurrying Maude out of bed so she can start cleaning. Maude asks her about the box of ashes, but the maid thought it was just a box of dust and dumped it down the toilet! There is also a funny epilogue scene when Mr Joe tells Maude he gave her the wrong ashes, he gave a man who was a plumber!
