A nickel!
The 'Lost Episode' ramped up the risqué content, but wasn't any funnier for it. This episode is far more reserved but the writing is so much better.
Peggy goes to Kelly's school for mother daughter career day where she wows the other mums and kids with her handy tips on how to do as little as possible and spend her husband's money. Meanwhile, Al tries to teach Bud the value of a hard-earned wage by taking him to work with him.
As is so often the case, the funniest moments take place in the shoe shop, Al making un-PC remarks about his customers, referring to a fat lady as a 320lb behemoth, and asking a beautiful young woman (regular MWC hottie Teri Weigel) about her morning shower routine. While this kind of humour might not go down so well with a modern audience, anyone lucky enough to have been raised in an age when comedy was allowed to be offensive will have a great time.
Outside of the shoe shop, Kelly gets giggles for aspiring to be like Peggy: "When I grow up I want to be just like you - I want to do nothing, I want to be nothing."
