At the end of the episode, a PA announcement is made similar to that at the end of M*A*S*H (1970), over the instrumental for "Suicide is Painless" the announcer (Jamie Farr) states: "Attention, attention! The following personnel are assigned to the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. Alan Alda, Wayne Rogers, McLean Stevenson, Loretta Swit, G. Wood, Larry Linville, Gary Burghoff, Karen Philipp, George Morgan, Patrick Adiarte, Timothy Brown, Odessa Cleveland."
The opening scene of this episode begins with a superimposed caption "KOREA 1950 - a hundred years ago".
Since the early 1990s,syndication prints of the series have had the 20th Television logo plastered over the closing 20th Century Fox Television logos that were originally used at the end of each episode. This logo is plastered over the original Fox TV logos in all M*A*S*H(1972)TV season DVDs and Blu-Ray as well. Sometimes, however, the original TCFTV theme music will play over the logo in occasional plaster errors. On very rare occasions the original closing TCFTV logo has been left intact on some airings.
