Despite the title referring to her infamous former nickname, no one calls Margaret "Hot Lips" at any point during the episode. Indeed, as of this episode, the nickname has not been used in an extraordinarily long time. The last notable time it was (sort of) used was by a drunk Colonel Potter, who Margaret kissed upon being granted leave to visit her then-husband in Tokyo ("You know, I like a woman with hot lips, and I'll tell you why..." "Why?" "Exactly.").
This episode features an appearance by General Lyle Weiskopf, who hosted Major Houlihan's wedding reception in the episode "Fade Out, Fade In".
