A statue of the Virgin Mary was brought to a small Mexican town by an American. It was rapidly followed by a miracle.
A small child was at death's door. Courtesy of the statue of the Virgin Mary. The child miraculously recovered.
Since then the statue has been associated with miracles and good luck. David is the man who came with the statue. He was a visitor who stayed.
Now some years later his brother Tack has arrived. He went to jail for a robbery. Only the money was hidden in the statue. He and David just need to take it.
Only David is not so keen. The townsfolk are praying for another miracle, rainfall.
Tack is a determined man though.
The story is really going to be brother against brother. The cynical even cruel Tack who might get a chance to repent.
I did think Adam Shepherd did not let his imagination run riot in this one.
