When getting ready to go to Nellie's party, Laura remembers back to an incident, namely from The Rivals (1978) and makes two mistakes: she says the boy she had a crush on was named Jeremy Dobbs, when in fact his name was Jimmy Hill. Second, Laura says that both she and Nellie had a crush on him. This is wrong, because Jimmy had a crush on a girl named Samantha, so Laura turned to Nellie for help.
Nellie is at Laura's for a visit. Her bangs are flat and blunt. Next screen at her parents' they are curly and a different shade of blonde.
When Miss Plum dismisses the class, a girl wearing a red dress and pigtails is seen gathering her books and walking past Nancy. Outside of the school, when all of the kids are leaving, this girl has disappeared.
When Nancy is leaving the party for Nellie's birthday the left window on the restaurant still says "Caroline's" but the sign on the building says "Nellie's."
While Nellie was inside Laura's house, she had ringlets at the back of her head. She had smooth hair in the immediate scenes before and after this scene.
Laura tells Almanzo about the time she put apples in her dress to impress a boy named Jeremy Dodds that her and Nellie both liked. Actually, the boy's name was Jimmy Hill and it was Laura and a girl named Samantha Higgins she was in competition with to get Jimmy to like her.
A real wild wolf would have ripped Nancy's throat out as she slept instead of just growling at her. That one was trained.
Ink in those days was pretty much indelible so there's no way Willie could've gotten it off his skin and hair that fast. The ink stained clothes would be considered ruined.
It's clear that when the "wolf" is chasing Nancy it stops and retreats as if being called by the trainer's whistle. A real predator would have continued the attack because she was fleeing.
At the 14:25 min mark, Laura's wraparound braid is the wrong color for her hair.
The printed wrapping paper at Nellie's party was not invented until 1917.
